Current Life List     |    No. IV    |    No. III     |     No. II   |     Original 101 List

It’s my goal to start an all-out assault on the status quo, using the cultural phenomenon of life lists to change the world. The Defining Audacity Radio Show is designed for people who are running in the quick sand of life and are tired of saying, “I’ll do it tomorrow” – whether that’s starting their own business, climbing Mount Everest or simply re-reading their favorite book.

It starts with putting God first and others second – all under the umbrella of a grateful heart.

Life lists – most commonly referred to as a bucket list – are extremely powerful. They are a fun and unique way to keep our goals, dreams and aspirations in the spotlight; an informal road map to living a bold, adventurous and intentional life.

Even though making a bucket list has been called one of the most selfish things a person can do, we want to prove that it has the potential to be just the opposite – a selfless act of giving back. Since life lists are commonplace in society, they create a wonderfully great opportunity to bring people together and help each other.

Living on purpose is not just about inspiring others to make a list and start marking things off – it’s a call to action to focus on other people’s goals and desires. It’s about providing hope in the lives of people going through the motions and not truly living life. It’s my vision to use The Defining Audacity Radio Show to help re-light a fire within the lives of people living in a haze of complacency and excuses.

MY DEFINITION OF LIVING BOLDLY:

Confidently living the life that we want…identifying what’s important to us
and not letting ANYTHING compromise that…never settling…always fighting.

That does not mean arrogant, frivolous, reckless or irresponsible.

LAYING THE FOUNDATION:

The four components to living on purpose are:

• Contentment – being comfortable in your own skin

• Gratitude – thankful for where we are in life

• Motives – examining why do we do what we do

• Relational Joy – importance of investing in others

Why is important to lay a solid foundation for this initiative? I want this initiative to be sustainable. Anyone can make a list and mark a few things off, but it’s only a matter of time before it’s buried under life again – work, bills, T-ball and soccer games, mindless TV.
